It would need to be pre-recorded then. You couldnt pull off a performance like that 'live', what with the slight time-delay.

I know part of the Stones sound is down to the fact that Charlie plays behind Keith slightly but this would take it to a new level!

Let's see. It's going to be the four of them. I doubt Keith will be on electric - not without Pierre to assist. He will be on acoustic. I'm sure Charlie is in tighter lockdown than the others - There's no way he's on a drum kit, right? He would need some assistance with that. He'll have something much smaller. Mick and Ronnie probably have all they need. Especially Mick. So Mick can go electric or acoustic, but I'm thinking this has to be acoustic. No Darryl, so nothing too hard rocking or upbeat.

My guesses are as follows:

Wild Horses - like the Stripped version. It's also a famous song.

Angie - it fits if they are doing a re-release this year. Not as famous as Wild Horses though.

No Expectations - eh, maybe not.

If they all managed to get properly set up for an electric performance, what can they do without Darryl? Maybe he recorded a bass track and he won't be on the screen.

If that's the case, who knows. Let's watch and find out!

Thought it was ok. Mick sounded very good. As was Ronnie. Not sure what Keith was doing at times. I guess it really is true that Charlie doesnt have a drum kit in his house. He seemed to be getting a good laugh at the silliness of it all.

There definitely appeared to be other pre-recorded instruments there .

It was good to see them. May as well make the most of it because it'll be quite a while before we do so again, I guess.

Admittedly, I switched it off after their bit, but I thought that Mick and Ronnie were better than or as good as everyone else. Stevie Wonder was outstanding though. The rest, I couldn't really give a toss about although I thought Kacey Musgraves was enjoyable- no idea who she is. Charlie was the highlight for me, and all the records behind him. Keith has been like that for a while now.

It was nice to see the boys looking healthy, and for a few minutes when they were playing, I forgot all about the virus. I was transported into the Stones-zone.

Charlie didn't have drums but I read that Shirley doesn't allow drums in the house. Wow pussy whipped! Keef seemed shy to be on TV. MICK and Ronnie held the song together! I loved watching them again, flaws and all! 

I thought Ventilator Blues would have been the better choice....but really they did quite well with Ronnie saving the day. Charlie stole the show while Keith..ummm who knows. It is quite weird to think if this turns out to be their last ever performance that Charlie was air drumming. Everyone that performed did their best and gold rings on them all.

Someone record them for me and post...this sort of stuff just makes me cringe...8pm...9pm...maybe I will try to figure out how to watch this...can I just stream it on Prime or Hulu?

That was interesting...I give Keef a pass...remember, he was the one person who up until a few years ago was still faxing messages to everyone...maybe he still does, not sure...this entire Zoom Conferencing thing is prolly making his head feel like he fell out of a coconut tree...thought to be honest, not even sure the guitar was even plugged in...

The choice of song was OK...it is a song that everyone knows...and if you are with your family, together, it certainly lends itself to the "sing-a-long" as everyone sways back-n-forth on the couch, etc...

Keith is with his wife and two daughters. They are cell phone experts. They probably played Mick's performance to him and he strummed what he wanted.

I'm not buying that Charlie was using electric drum sticks. I think he was playing along to a recording, which I don't mind. He looked like he was having a ball. For five minutes I was up and dancing and singing and having a good time.
