A great man. An amazing songwriter. And a voice that had few (if any) peers in country music.

Android: You may know "Mama Tried"; Grateful Dead played that one a lot. I saw Merle open for Dylan a few years ago; he stole the show.

Today I Started Loving You Again
The greatest country song ever written or performed IMO One of the few thins Dad and I Agreed on! They being: George Jones, Merle and we both agreed That Conway was a "Womans Singer" In our Opinion! I miss now miss all 4! George, Conway, Merle and Dad. I love you Conway,in reference to the killer, Jerry Lee Lewis. The still last men standing!Willie and I love you Killer! |
