As you may have heard, Piss Pissedofferson lost his battle with depression last month. Piss was a hell of a songwriter from what I've heard. He was SheRat's husband of nine years and is rumored to have peed all over Amsterdam with Teiz, so there is a strong connection there to our little online Stones family.

I only hung with him a few times. I deeply love and care for Erin… She became a great friend in SF… we had many talks and get togethers. She felt like family, because I love her like a sibling.
Sadly their marriage ended, it was fun beautiful wedding.

One thing I saw Mark do, I will never forget, was a really funny, on point, Jagger impersonation.

I just wanted to throw this out there.

I haven't heard back from Erin in a few weeks, since this happened. She was definitely overwhelmed, shocked and trying to get prepared to deal with the mess…

As someone who has lived and survived PTSD, alcoholism, depression and life in general… I only have sadness, and the reminder of my own life threatening situations.

Be well all of you. Even those who've I've fallen out with.

This has been a trying time, and I only just noticed Voodoo's offer to post this as a header like, 2 weeks ago.

As there has been a stall in the fundraising, I thought, why not try one more time. Anything anyone can do would be great; I had been saving for graduate school in Scotland when this happened, and was not able to go this year due to this tragedy.

I'm not sure how I missed the comments on this thread, but Pdog and I have had sanity-saving communications since this thread and I just really thank the Goddess (no, NOT the one in the doorway, LOL) for the boards; you guys really are great people and many of you among the people I count as true friends.

I've finally settled down for a while, after a year of virtual itinerancy and promise to hang out more.

We gotta start planning the Second Summit of the Century in Mexico!!!

For anyone else who is wondering, though not to get all salacious or anything, Piss was on a downward spiral, and he had refused to leave the apartment for which my parents had co-signed AND loaned us the money for the security deposit (forcing me to move to Oakland). Aside from cremation costs, it is unpaid rent and the security deposit which comprise the target amount--which is money that, had he, say, been evicted, he would have owed to my parents. I am still not sure how much of his other debt (there are unpaid utility bills and some weird tax bill, an ambulance bill, etc., etc.) I'm on the hook for, I I hear different things from different non-probate lawyers. There's also a lot of weird people selling t-shirts and his music (and throwing tribute concerts) and shit without my permission.

People crawled out of the woodwork to steal things from the apartment, people claiming "best friend" who I had never met in all the whole ten years, the whole thing was unbelievable. If this is what it's like when someone who had, at best, marginal local success dies, I hate to think of what say, Keith Moon's wife went through, or, worse, Yoko.

Anyways, thanks Voodoo, for bumping this up. And it's true, any little bit helps.
