Anyone going to Quebec??

I personally do not consider this part of the ZIP CODE tour...simply because they dont use ZIP CODES in Canadia...yes, I know, Postal Codes...big effin whoop!!

But, is any ROers going to Quebec??

Canada is always a major stop for the band, kind of a thankyou for 77/78. Ya know Keith could've done a lot of time over that bit of silliness. So I think whether or not it's strictly part of the Zipcode tour or not, it's a must for the band,

Also we have to remember there are a lot of Canadian fans. It would be inconceivable for them to ignore the Canadian contingent. Think about Australia, just the major cities. Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth, that's barely scratching the surface. I know many Aussie fans who live in large cities who have to travel miles to see them the relatively few times they have toured here.

They toured Australia in 1973 and, as the Beatles were no longer, I decided this just had to be the first concert I ever attended, I was always a Stones fan, but from 63, to 72 the Beatles were my favourite  Band. I remember being too young, and too far away from Melbourne to attend,(hard as I tried, and getting a major bullocking for trying.) They made them play in 40 degrees Celsius without any shade in the hottest part of the day In a goddamned tennis arena.

In Sydney they were forced to play at a horse racing track. People I know attended the Melbourne  midday concert, and to this day say it was atrocious, they (the Stones), were hounded by the media with inane questions about drugs, and scandal. Hence mightily fucked off, they did not return until 1995.

So you have been extremely lucky in the States to have enjoyed their presence with tours since the 60s. Honestly, their last Aussie tour ( the original concerts cancelled, or at least postponed due to Jagger's girlfriend dying), was a case of in and out. Whooooosh! Goodnight! And thanks a lot.

They ARE going to play arena's from what I hear, but probably not Raleigh again...;) Big cities would be my guess, maybe MSG for the first time in nearly a decade.
