I bet Mick wishes he could of sung on Talk Is Cheap & Main Offender.

With those 2 albums they could produced another Exile type of album even w\ Ronnie & Charlie on it!

I don't get Mick Jagger sometimes.

Last year, after a wonderful Memorial Day here inn Sweet Virginia (Joey, pay attention), Maxmeister sent me a copy of Mick Jagger & the Red Devils.

So, it's the early 90s, Stones had just gotten off of Steel Wheels after nearly breaking up. The London Years had just come out showcasing the bluesy early years. And what does Jagger do? He unloads a classic blues album with the Red Devils.

Great release -- got all over it.

But how pissed off do you think Keith Richards was?

So many missed opportunities.
Hurts just to think about it...

To be honest, the best solo albums by solo members are all by Ronnie and Keith and Mick Jagger the worst. In order from best to worst:

Ronnie Wood
Mick Taylor
Brian Jones (Degree of Murder and JouJouka)
Bill Wyman
Charlie Watts
Stu (Rocket 88)
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards

I am flying out to Phoenix, AZ on March 31st for the Easter Break and Indio , CA [ Coachella ( Steely Dan ) --- Never thought I would say THOSE two things together ] . Will evaluate everything at the end of April ( ie : remaining vacation time ) .

I think She's the Boss was always underrated. It had perhaps the smartest lyrics of its time. Smarter than the Stones lyrics he wrote in that time, actually.

Is that so? I'll have to check it out.

I had that record and I remember writing Duran Duran fanfic around that time as well, wherein I was a punk singer in NYC and Mick was my boyfriend, and my best friend was John Taylor from Duran Duran, whose OTHER best friend was Andy Taylor from Duran Duran and me and Andy did NOT get along because what we really wanted to do was fuck each other but couldn't admit it. But until I could get that plot worked out, I screwed around writing all these sex scenes with Mick, while listening to that record. But I don't remember the lyrics or indeed any other songs besides the hit. These notebooks are around the attic somewhere....

I liked She's the Boss so much the year it came out, and played it so much, that it took me years to figure out that other Stones fans didn't like it as much as I did, and do.
