Yeah finally got most of my Christmas shopping done today.
Had to bug out and fight the crowds, but it was fun. Very few surly people -- everyone was pretty festive. Hoping everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday. Looking forward to 2015. Maybe our band will surprise us this year -- a few shows in the US wouldn't hurt. |

It's a yearly ritual of mine to listen to it at Crimbo, as that's when I first got the UK import mid-December of '1980. The album just feels like Christmas to me ever since. And of course the late, great Mikey Dread co-produced, sang, rapped and toasted on several tracks on it. |

Agreed. Enjoy the redemptive nature of this period. See Ephesians 1:7 ("In him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace."). Reflect and take responsibility for your own malfeasance. For you never know when Him come calling.

Don't worry, Mt. Pleasantism. Depression is common in this joyous season in which we worship the Prince of Peace (a.k.a. Nazarenian Jesus) and his mind-blowing conception, gestation and ultimate manger birth (there was NO room at the Inn). It dawns on many amongst our brethren, and even some women sometimes, just how absurd it is conducting our affairs and making life decisions based on infantile, self-deluded superstitions. It is this "cognitive dissonance" that creates depression, bipolarismness, flagellation, and alcohol abuse. So what you are going through is like totally normal.
