Lest we forget, this week marks the anniversary of what might be the greatest Stones shows of all - 1969 at Madison Square Garden in NYC. As someone who was there, and has see them many times over the years, I'd like to think those were the best.

Of course, I've seen "Gimme Shelter" and listened to the album so many times that's it hard to separate one's true memories from the movie. But I can surely live with that!

A distinctively different sound with Mick T on guitar.
