I am new to message boards but this one was suggested to me by a friend...

Fave show I have seen was in Chicago on 50&Counting (only seen them 3 times, all the same tour. My Dad said I was too young for Voodoo Lounge!)

I was over it until about 2002 or so, when someone gave me Handsome Girls and I realized how great 1978 was.

But still, I am now generally over it.
For the most part.

Except for the whole not being able to go thing.

But I'm good now.

LuAnn Madison got to go.

How come she gets to go.?

She comes into school the next week, bragging to everyone.
Showing everyone her pictures -- loaded with Kodak snapshots (the "new" borderless Kodak instamatic shit).  Jagger wearing red.  And big hats.  And Keith, the druggie. 

I hated her.
Bitch.
But I loved her.

She was a hot Stones chick.

The irony was that my older cousin Stuart drove a bunch of people, including LuAnn MAdison, out to Buffalo.

I even tried to convince my parents that it would be cool, "hey lighten up, Stuart's driving"

Yeah....

That worked.

Stuart, the one that did donuts in my dad's front yard?
Stuart, the one that drew stick figures in my dad's wallpaper throughout the house?

Yeah....

Stuart was even in some of the Kodak pictures LuAnn had.

I very much appreciate the warm welcome. I am quite new to this whole thing but I have a feeling the best way to learn is to just jump right in.

I am mostly over my Dad saying I was too young for the Voodoo Lounge tour at the age of 9, but not really. I still think of it every other day. I stewed and stewed and stole all of his Stones records for myself. Let's just say hell hath no fury like a man whose 9 year old daughter takes over his Stones collection.

Finally, saw them live last year and jokingly told my dad that I shouldn't take him since he caused me to miss out. Then I handed him his ticket.

BTW, I never returned his records. His new wife is too good for the greatest rock n roll band so Dad told me to listen to them for him too.

P.S. I was supposed to let everyone know maxlugar says hello.

Lugar...I knew it....

He is a friend. We met when he commented on some of my photos on my Instagram photo blog. I have began to refer to him as my all knowing Stones friend on there.

I wonder if maxlugar is lurking...
