I wonder why many songs like Sitting On A Fence wasn't never played live. Neither in the last short tour.
What's wrong with it? Nice lyrics and sound. Mick in shape.
I really can't understand. Will they never open theirs vaults?

Anyway what are the song you would liked listen on a live show of the Stones? Lady Jane was played in 02 Arena.. something that Mick had forgotten in all this time..

Yes, agree! It is Chuck Leavell that suggest to Mick which songs he might sing.. it is the memory of the Stones was said.. he got all in his mind. And by now Mick and Keith too they hate all the Brian's era. But is a pity. Also Ruby Tuesday came from the same era.. I too was pleased to listen that song you named. It's an unterrated song.

Metamorphosis was completely exceptional -- demo recordings to present for consideration of other artists. Sittin' on a Fence wasn't on it. The lead sure sounds like Keith to me. He was the group's lead guitarist at the time.

I'm sorry - but it doesn't sound like Keith to me, nor Keith's style then or now. Only Brian was that accomplished on acoustic, but the style is unfamiliar, so I wonder if it's him. Not all of Metamorphosis is for the demo market.

Yes, but Sittin' on a Fence wasn't ON Metamorphosis, so how is that relevant? Besides, you say "only Brian was that accomplished on acoustic" based on what evidence? Give me another example of Brian of acoustic lead.

Listen to Hear It, which sounds similar. That is certainly Keith.

No way is that playing as good as "Sittin' On a Fence." As far as my comment re: Metamorphosis - read the whole thread.

Some people don't know that the Stones could do everything (disco, psychedelia, pop, folk, rock, reggae), just like the Kinks or the Beatles, and get away with it.

Some people don't know who the Beatles were. I swear. And they don't care; or maybe they don't seem to care. I only know that while I was a youngster I didn't want people to talk to me. I was an EMO loser.
