They say a Rolling Stone gathers no moss and that's certainly true for Mick Jagger who at age 70 is still very much at the centre of both the music and fashion world.

On Tuesday night at the very rock'n'roll Chateau Marmont Hotel Mick was right by the side of his American girlfriend L'Wren Scott to help launch her new collection for Banana Republic.

Also attending the event were Mad Men actresses and bombshells Christina Hendricks and Jessica Pare, both wearing outfits from the Banana Republic L'Wren Scott Collection.

The event was hosted by Vanity Fair magazine with the magazine's West Coast editor, Krista Smith, co-hosting alongside L'Wren.
