What's new with me - I retired from my state job on disability when my MS got too bad to manage the 2 hour commute.  I now spend all of my waning energies on playing music, which seems to have a beneficial effect on my faulty neurological system. I play with 7 different bands, at last count. This Saturday four of them are playing at a benefit concert for the local foods pantry, an annual event started six years ago by my ex-gf Erica, who you may recall as the frequent butt of "fat chick" jokes around here. Erica left me in 2010, but we are still dear friends and perform together in a kick-ass blues band.

Unfortunately I couldn't afford to see the Stones this go-round, but all the stuff I saw on You Tube looked pretty awesome. Some of the guest stars were kinda lame, but sharing "Little Red Rooster" with Tom Waits was inspired.

I'm guessing that the last sentence of your post was an attempt to start a political argument, and I must say that they have been in short supply since you haven't been around. That is the one thing we are sadly missing, and I'm sure the Unholy Trinity would love to host a good old-fashioned nasty name-calling junior high dust-up. So, in the words of our greatest President: Bring it on!

There ya go Corgi! Here's hoping that the tour bug has taken hold inside the Stones' camp. I have heard rumblings from some pretty big concert promotion insiders that a stadium our is in the works for the US for summer 2014 with a European leg to follow. It's all but a certainty from what I've been told.

As for the last sentence in my original post FPM. My point is not to start another political dustup here on RO. I have decided that there is little need to go down that road again. I have been proven, beyond any doubt, to have been 100% correct in my assessment of the man/child Mr. Hopey McChange. Only the most ill informed ideologically brainwashed drones still believe in that clown.

However, I did vow that I would come back with a well deserved "I told you so!" So there it was. I was right. Again.

Now bring on the Stones!

it really is good to see you… I do have one point of contention, you've been wrong, so regardless if you're right, you've never admitted when you were wrong before… how about we don't have this conversation, you know it will only bring ill feelings… i'm with Brainbell, you got way more love for people than some others who have malice in their hearts. Let's just all know, we are 100% friends and fans, and on other topics we are sometimes right, sometimes wrong!!! and we believe in those principles, b/c it's who we are, not to be better than anyone else...

No talk of an album at present, but I'm sure a Rarities 2 is just waiting in the wings. Or some incarnation there of. Stadiums tour with some possible arena dates. That's the word I'm hearing. Pre planning is well under way.
