Its the circulating Stones version with Mick singing - sounds speeded up.

Would have been hard for Brian to be on it considering he was er....dead. Plus what does he sing like anyway?

I heard Brian sang on "Walking The Dog"
This one has Nicky Hopkins, & suppose to be the last track that The Stones ever did with Brian, supposedly, when he was in a state of actual taking part in a recording session (which as time went by he wasn't in any condition as we know) I just thought I would put this on here.
Gazza have you ever heard  that Brian & Nicky Hopkins were involved with a Rock Opera called Edward?
That is what is going around.
I personally think it's all just a bunch of bullshit! just somebody wanting to start something.

Never heard of that rock opera.

There's only one take of Travellin Man in circulation and this is it. It sounds sped up. Its the same take thats been doing the rounds for about 40 years now. It post-dates the era Brian was in the band (its probably late 1970) and Mick Taylor is on it.

The claim that he's singing on this is about as genuine as his signature on the copy of Let It Bleed that came up on e-bay a few years ago.

Didn't he sing on the only song he ever wrote?  That Rice Krispie thing?

Isn't it strange, when you want to believe something so bad, that even in the face of cold hard facts, you still want to believe. It's Mick, but............

Aren't those his backing vocals on Walkin' the Dog? - there is bark to them (pun intended) that doesn't sound like either Mick or Keith.

Brian does sing back up on a few early recordings for sure, but he never sang lead on anything I've ever heard. I always thought that was him on Walkin' The Dog too - solely because it doesnt sound like anyone else and I dont know what he sings like.

Thats Mick on the Rice Krispies jingle.

According to Keith, in something I think I read somewhere, sometime… Brian sang like shit, but was a master musician…
Brian couldn't develop as a songwriter as well, and maybe he should've, his voice might not have been the problem, but he didn't sing any leads… that is pretty much a fact, as far as I know...

Actually, the pot combined the kettle together with all the the other elements necessary, and then the tea was made.
