That's great news!
Have it on Vinyl and CD for so many years now and it's still one of my fav Live recordings.
I even rate it higher than The Almans Lve at the Filmore East.
"Eat it" is also a fine double vinyl album that still gets playtime.

I know NOTHING about Humble Pie...I know I should...but there is just too much music out there to love...anyone care to give me a quick lesson and suggestions for an introduction?

It was a so called supergroup, formed by Steve Marriott who left Small Faces, he previously invited Peter Frampton to be a member of the Small Faces but the other members rejected the idea so he quit and formed Humple Pie with Peter who invited Jerry Shirley from "The Apostolic Intervention" and Steve also invited Greg Ridley from Spooky Tooth a great band back then

The above was in January 1969, later Brian Jones was about to start rehearsals in July but you know what happened

Songs to start

As Rooooostah mentioned "30 Days in the Hole",

"Rolling Stone" (Yes, the Muddy Waters song that some said it was the inspiration for the name of our band but it was the song Mannish Boy aka I'm a Man aka Hoochie Coochie Man instead)

Well... start with "Performance - Rocking the Fillmore" it rocks

Then Rock On, As Safe as Yesterday is, Smoking, Eat it, etc etc etc

LOL and I love the way he compares Led Zeppelin, The Who and Black Sabbath after mentioning the GREAT Steve Marriott with the Small Faces/Humble Pie combo

Other stones connection is that both, Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton were candidates for the Rolling Stones
