Can you imagine to haven't got ever the computer, and all the Hi Tech is common that we are used to use?
How was your life before all that cames out?
Can you guess how your life would becomes?
No emails evermore. No PMs. No Chat. How you might stay in touch with your friends? Ringing at their bells, or their land-phones? Watch how your life was changes from those times. Incredible don't? How come to know about the Stones's activity? Which are your impressions? Then exist a time without the net? xx ^_^

I remember seeing the first version of Rolling Stone magazine in newspaper format I think with Lennon on the cover. I thought the Stones had started their own magazine but why was Lennon on the cover?...lol anyway that mag was all we had in Canada rock wise other than CHUM radio in Toronto to keep us up on tours and new albums etc. I always had booze and drugs and good tunes so people found me and I didn't need a smartphone!

I remember in the 60's the only magazine that had anything to do with Rock & Roll was Hit Parader, they used to post the lyrics to all the top hits of the day, that was a big thing!!!!! like discovering gold LOL I remember Ramparts, Circus (it was called Hullabaloo before that) & then of course like Gimmekeef mentioned Rolling Stone, it was folded in half, the radio was a big thing, I don't have a smart phone or am I interested in one, yes, I guess it would be different not to have an internet, but we got by o.k. it's like the old saying, if you never had it, you know how to get by, like you usually do, but it would be so different.

Jann Wenner named the magazine Rolling Stone so he could meet Mick ...... and I do not blame him .

Yes, I remeber we had only the musical magazines, so we could know what's was going on. If I should met some friends, I simply rang at his bell's door. I havent a smartphone, no interested in that. I need a mobile who can make the calls. I think internet is a great thing to be around the world with your friends. But in the same way,life was more simple in those eras. About me. Then why Lennon on the cover? I didnt understood..

I remember we would call each other & then agree on a specific time & place to meet up.

once it was fixed & you left the house there was no way back; you had to show up & could not just cancel at the last minute.

All I know is that I couldn't watch Ray Donovan last night because Time Warner has a dispute with CBS and Showtime. A friend of mine told me to watch it on the internet, well, my internet is thru Time Warner so I can't do that. Only other choice is to download the show thru my Iphone data, but who knows how much data that will eat up?

If I didn't have access to satellite TV, during my teens, I never would have known about onanistic behaviour. Also, it was 1989 when I first watched a music video by rhe Stones (during the Steel Wheels era) AND a Bob Dylan video ("Political World").

I remember holding up my cassette recorder to my radio speaker to record Start Me Up off the radio. I wore that shit out!

Yes, walking about the school for 6 km in the snow, alone and almost barefoot. Meet the friends wasnt so easy, till the last min you couldn't know anything. But I had a great time with them, big fun. Was a sacrifice bought all the magazines about the Stones and theirs rumours of gigs. But luckily we had crossed the line of the time. Are we more glad now with all these devices we are used to use? I really don't know..

Before, I got hooked on the internet. I used to go outside and ride my bike or go swimming at the city pool. I would go and relax on the beach.

Sometimes, I would go out dancing, or to the movies or dinner with my family.

Now, I spend a lot of time on Skype or YouTube!

But, my boyfriend does take me out clubbing or to dinner on the weekends.
