Title: Having trouble connecting Rocks Off with Firefox Post by andrews27 on Jul 31st, 2013 at 9:18pm
I had to replace my hard drive, and I get the error message below when using url www.rocksoff.org. (Connecting is a little slow in Internet Explorer also.) Any thoughts?
Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache Server at rocksoff.org Port 80 |

That's going to be something with your set up. I access www.rocksoff.org with IE and Firefox using XP, Vista, Windows 7 and 8 platforms. Did you alter any settings in your web browser? What about firewall settings?

How about this:
How to easily fix (error 404)? There are two (2) ways to fix 404 Error: Advanced Computer User Solution (manual restore): 1) Start your computer and log on as an administrator. 2) Click the Start button then select All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click System Restore. 3) In the new window, select "Restore my computer to an earlier time" option and then click Next. 4) Select the most recent system restore point from the "On this list, click a restore point" list, and then click Next. 5) Click Next on the confirmation window. 6) Restarts the computer when the restoration is finished. Novice Computer User Solution (completely automated): 1) Download (Error 404) repair utility. 2) Install program and click Scan button. 3) Click the Fix Errors button when scan is completed. 4) Restart your computer. Don't sue me if it don't work but it worth a try! |

I don't knowe if a restore point return is going to work, because this only happened after my hard drive crashed and I had to rebuild a new one - so there is no real restore point, since I have the Firefox problem from a brand new setup. THANKS, all.

Were you drunk? Intoxicated? I often have internet trouble whilst intoxicated.
Get bent. Get biffed. Get sloppy sloppy. Get the Syndrome. I can tell you all that you should think very carefully before you buy a laptop with Windows 8. I can't stand this fucking OS, and I've had it two weeks now. What a garbage product. Get smelchie. Skeechie skeechie? All smelchie. Chuck "Smelchie" Revel. Get bent. |
