Hi Fabio... I start to read with marvel super-hero bd... (Avengers, FF & co) most of all, i'm a big Conan fans, there was great drawer there (Windsor-Smith, Buscema, Kwapiz)... I also love what Dark Horse have done with him... Anyway, I just drop by to say i love what you do. as Keith often say: you have good pencils man! And i love the fact that you're doing it with the Stones, just like William Stout in the old days on bootleg cover... If you have time, it'll be great if you could do a cover for Glastonbury too!
One love! |

I miss that one Fabio, but I still have your LuckyStu on piano... for me it's the essential Stu in all his glory! Yesss Kirby was the King... And now, because of you, I know who was "Fighting American", thanks =-) Captain America was my best, (I move to Conan later), I shed a tear while reading "Reborn" last week... Childhood reborn in me! Maybe one day we could team-up on Rocks Off & tellin' the true Story of The Glimmer Brothers: the continuing story of Lord HugeMouth & Mister BigEars! Have fun, I'll be there tomorrow!

EXCELLENT Fabio!!!
I have always enjoyed your artwork...it is way to seldom in these parts!! Are you published? Are you a comic artist? I have scripted a few books but can't even draw a crooked line correctly... |

Was Hyde Park 69 when Jagger started to wear wigs???
I didn't think he started to loose his hair until VL Tour...his toupee maker these days should be fired. |

Title: Re: Hyde Park reloaded in comics Post by Fabio Hot Stuff on Jul 9th, 2013 at 11:50am
in reality the wig is an excuse to re-design his look... I don't think he's wear a wig nowdays ...in 1969 he has a great hairlook, so inflated , and I liked the idea that L'wren could force him to wear it to seem like a 44 years before

Nice stuff, Fabio.
Mick looks like Brian Eno and former French President Giscard D'Estaing in those two photoshopped slaphead pics. |

Seriously Fabio, where did you learn to draw like that?
Did you spend many years in art school? Did you just learn on your own? I can't even draw a stick figure, and I am just amazed at how detailed, yet nuanced your drawings are! When I was younger I used to read a lot of Mad Magazine (explains a bit) -- also amazing cartoonists and drawings! Don Martin, Al Jaffe, Dave Berg, Mort Drucker, Sergio Aragones -- awesome stuff! What talent, all of you! |
