In the top 5, maybe even top 3, best shows of the last 30 years for me:

Who's got a download of the whole show for me? :-/

Totally agree.
I had a VHS copy of that whole show. IIRC Keith played a long and  great solo in "Sympathy for the Devil".

Amazing, when you think about it, how they were considered "old" on that tour: "Steel Wheelchairs"!

Looking back, it's clear they were still in their prime.

I recently snatched this off DIME and have to agree, they were still incredible then!:)

Right down to the acid washed jeans! This was a good tour but good by the new rules standards...

Increasingly, I think it was a good tour by any standard. The "Vegas"-y backup support, while maybe excessive, allowed the band to touch every part of its catalog with ease. Could you imagine them trying "2,000 Light Years" with today's lineup?

Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle got me hooked on this band. Keith was fresh from the Winos and his playing during this time is some of my favorite he's done.

Amazing. My hunch is they're teeing it up for the UK shows and I won't be lucky enough to hear it in D.C.

The band's twitter feed referenced 2000 Light years From Home earlier today.

he also finally mastered the art of consistently singing into the mic by that tour having eventually realised how essential it was when he had to front his own band!

Sloppy 81 Keith would kick business like 90 Keith's butt...if he had to...
