The show was great. Taj was a great guest doing a great and rare song. SO much better than some pop tart.

They all looked and sounded great. Keith really brought it. He was almost fierce at times. I wish we had more Mick T, but what we got was superb.

And of course the whole night was bound to be great when I started it off with those crazy bastards like Tom L and Parmeda. And what fun to see Edith Grove, SSCUK and Flairville!!

And cool...on "Emotional Rescue" Mick carried the falsetto over to the second verse.  First time I've heard that on this tour.  He's usually done the falsetto just for the 1st verse and then recently he's brought it back for the 3rd verse...using his normal register in all other parts of the song.  Someone should edit together him doing falsetto for all the verses and we'd finally get a complete version of him singing it properly....

This clip of "One More Shot" from last night...is it me or is INCREDIBLY sped up?!  I have no idea if it's the video that's sped up or if the band actually played it this way.  If they did...I must say it sounds pretty good.  Definitely picks up the energy on this one.

EDIT:  by my count, their performance of this song in Toronto over the week clocked in at about 127 BPM, while this one last night from Chicago was at 137 BPM.  Charlie definitely kicking it up a notch here!  Nice

Yup, it was really a genuinely great moment.  Everyone stage seemed to be having fun and it's coming through in the music.  Mick even gives Charlie a thumbs up during Ronnie's solo.  If Mick's having a great time...that's all you need.  

Gazz, have a chance to catch this video of "Street Fighting Man" that I posted in another thread?  it's another high point on this tour much like "6 Days" was....
