The Rolling Stones are once again throwing open the chance for fans to vote for a song of their choice, as By Request… goes live once again.

Fans can choose from a shortlist of five songs, selected by the band, but not currently part of the set list. The band will then play the winning song during the concert on May 8th in San Jose.

The vote, which is open now in the Official Rolling Stones mobile app, runs until midday (PST) on the day of the San Jose concert and the band will play the winning song live that night.

A second vote will open in the app on May 9th giving fans the chance to vote for a song to be played at the Las Vegas concert on May 11th.

For you chance to vote, download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

I would guess that the ER falsetto would be subbed out for the F2C falsetto...I mean...how many can he do per night?

Would we ever hear an ER and F2C or WAY on the same night??

I'm hoping for No Expectations because it's a staple of Mick Taylor's set and I'm hoping we'll get a treat there and stop this one song shit. Although I doubt it.

What should they play? It prob doesn't matter much, as long as CW bangs whatever he's banging in whatever arena. Gawd kows how they're mic-ing up, mixing and amplifying him, but, to the naked ear in the auditorium, he sounds delightful.

No Expectations is right there with Memory Motel as my most wanted,never heard Stones song. Considering this will likely be my last Stones show. It would be incredibly sweet to hear it.......And keeps with the early country ballad slot they've been playing. :willya :willya

You'd only have saw it in 89 had you been at the opening night in Philly. The power er..'shattered' during the song, everything ground to a halt and then they restarted the show. The song wasnt played again for the rest of the tour. It was played in 94 and 95 but then not again until the European shows in 1999.

This is fixed. GRRRRRegory has been flooding the votes all day for Shattered. I tried to keep up and load in some votes for No Expectations. But theres no way I can vote as fast as monkey with a twitter account can.

I've said it before, but I was on LSD, tripping balls when that happened, thought the world was ending, like we had been attacked or something… I was aso high, I kinda didn't care, but was scared shitless all at once!!!
