prob the greatest front women in Aussie rock passed away today in NY after a battle with breast cancer. She was married to Charley Drayton, ex Stones session drummer and XPensive Winos drummer.

Cancer is horrible. RIP Chrissy. She also suffered from multiple sclerosis, and so couldn't have radiation treatment or chemotherapy for the cancer.

probably one of my first rock n roll crushes… saw them open for the Cult in Philly, many, many years ago… she exuded some much confidence and strength it's what made her so beautiful to me…

Yes, very sad. Saw them at The Palace in St.Kilda. They were great. She was about 5 foot from me. Great presence. Drayton wasnt on drums, but they had one of the dudes from Blondie in the band at the time.

was front row for their last ever show in GTown 07. Was their first show in 10 years, and was one of the highlights of my life. Amazing.

DAMN. I saw the Divinyls open for the Psychedelic Furs in 1982. They were great! Classic punk Aussie RAWK fronted by a red-headed flame-thrower.
She wore a Catholic school-girl's uniform and shredded black stockings - the image is still burned in my brain!

Having MS myself, I'm always a little freaked out when people die from it. In Chrissie's case, as mentioned above, her MS prevented her from
getting radiation treatments for her breast cancer, so it was only a contributing factor. Not that it makes a whole lot of difference.

Did I mention that she was sexy as fuck?
