Just want to make sure this info is out there.
Tickets for the Philly show(s) are not being handled through Ticketmaster. The link you want is www.comcasttix.com. If you want to pre-register and get an account set up with them go to www.comcasttix.com Click on Wells Fargo Center Click on Events Click on The Rolling Stones Click on Sign In Click on Register You will then be able to get your credit card info into their system. This may save you some time and let's face it, when you are trying to score Stones tickets, your hands are shaking, heart is racing and you might key in the wrong info. Good luck everyone!!!! |

Apparently there'll be two and maybe as many as three shows in Philadelphia. There should be plenty of tickets to go 'round, especially if you're only doing one show there.
I would recommend not panic-buying the really overpriced crap that they'll undoubtedly throw at you in the first few minutes, in order to con you into thinking that's all that's left. |

The Rolling Stones
Tuesday, June 18, 2013 - 8:00 PM Doors: 7:00pm Location: Wells Fargo Center -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Sale: Monday, Apr. 15, 2013 - 10:00 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- $147, $247, $447, $597 The Rolling Stones, the greatest rock-and-roll band in the world, will close out the North American portion of their “50 And Counting” tour at Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday, June 18. The Rolling Stones last performed in Philadelphia at Wells Fargo Center on October 10 and 12, 2005. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 15 at 10 a.m. exclusively through ComcastTIX online at ComcastTIX.com, by phone at 800-298-4200 or in person at the Wells Fargo Center box office. “The Rolling Stones have been revolutionizing rock and roll for more than five decades and we are thrilled to host the final North American stop for their ’50 And Counting’ tour this summer at Wells Fargo Center,” said Global Spectrum’s Matt Homan, General Manager at Wells Fargo Center. “Philadelphia and the Rolling Stones have a long history together and it’s been almost eight years since they played here. I know our fans can’t wait for them to return.” “50 And Counting” continues the exhilarating celebration of the band’s first 50 years—five decades of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood bringing their iconic music and ground-breaking stage shows to audiences around the globe. The Rolling Stones were recently crowned the ‘Best Live Band’ at the NME Awards in London, and over the past 12 months have thrilled fans with their release of a greatest hits collection, “GRRR!,” a groundbreaking documentary film “Crossfire Hurricane,” a photographic book “Rolling Stones: 50,” and have taken the stage by storm for their first live shows in many years. The tour is the band’s highly anticipated return to the stage. “‘50 And Counting’ has been pretty amazing so far,” said Jagger. “We did a few shows in London and New York last year…and had such a good time that we thought…let’s do some more. It’s a good show. Lots of the classic stuff everyone wants to hear…with a few little gems tucked in here and there. The stage is shaped like lips and goes off into the venue so I get to run around in the crowd. It’s great fun to be able to get that close to the audience.” “From day one at rehearsals it sounded so fresh. You could tell that everybody was dying to get their teeth into it. It was like…open the gates…let us out!” said Richards. “Cause man, it is the life and blood of us to play in front of people.” Mick Taylor, who was a member of the Rolling Stones from 1969-74, will be a special guest throughout the tour. The band will treat their generations of fans to an evening of classic Stones hits like “Gimme Shelter,” “Paint It Black,” “Jumping Jack Flash,” “Tumbling Dice,” and “It’s Only Rock and Roll,” curated with lesser known gems, and a cover or two. The stage design for the tour is based on the band’s ubiquitous tongue and lips logo, which extends out into the crowd, allowing the Stones to interact directly with their audience. Known for their ground-breaking sets and use of cutting-edge technology, the Stones’ set design will feature video screens and special effects that will enhance the high-octane experience of attending a live Stones’ show. |

And...I'm in. I'm thanking the ticket gods at this very moment. I'm in the venue and that's all I care about.
