The different live version were very good ; why don't use them instead of the studio version ?

Marketing  Mistery or Mistake ...

The first video...is pretty cool visually...lots of Charlie...which is always welcome...
They aren't  live recordings though, are they?
They are just some of  the studio versions...or overdubbed/cleaned up...

It's the studio version but it sounds different. Did they speed it up a bit?

Rather lovely chipper footage edited to the original track.
'Bloom & Prune' sounded slightly (slightly) shithouse, played live in 2012, as if the grooviness of it hadn't quite been found, but I expect they'll sort it out & surpass it in/for 2013.
The original laugh at the end of the D&G studio track was the greatest Stains' Laugh since, shirley, Ronald's laugh when heard for a second while Keith crooned 'How Can I Stop'?
Everything seems to be going splendidly.

Yup, definitely sped up slightly.  The song clocks in a few seconds shorter than the original studio version.

You know, I've been to quite a few shows and very rarely see 35 and under women rockin' out to the Stones or getting suckled for that matter.

lol, it must suck to get old...
