Bon Jovi sucks -- I think everyone here, except Gazza, already knows this.

He does and continues to do a lot for the residents of New Jersey, especially since Sandy.
He also did a lot for the families of those who had loved ones murdered on 9/11.
So, when my daughter or wife wants to listen to him in the car, I think of this & deal with it.
One does not have to like his music to appreciate the contributions the man makes to society.

Very true Nellie. The Bon Jovi bashing has taken on epic proportions on Stones sites. But always nice to have some persepective thrown in.

Whilst the sound of his records instantly make my testicles contract, I'll go on record (and have done before) that for reasons like the above I've really got nothing personal against the guy (although that recent interview where he was singling out other performers by name who he claimed didnt do as much as HE did for charity was embarrassingly desperate).

Bon Jovi does NOT suck! In fact I just saw their act the other night, it was John's 51st birthday and he is in fine shape, his voice is excellent and he has a fabulous smile, he's still cute! Richie S shreads it, and the drummer is awesome, the whole band rocked! They had a GA section similar to the Tongue Pit only smaller. I wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was, so I am pleased that I was able to score a $40 ticket outside of the venue. They had a price range of $40 uppers to $800 for the pit and tickets accordingly priced for their locations. It was fairly priced as the diehards could buy pit and casual fans could buy uppers for a fun night out.
