Now so non relevant to us it doesnt even warrant a thread?..LOL....Only saw Depp enter to Happy snippet.......but pretty lame from what I can tell. Was the Marley tribute at least decent?.....

Wasn't interested, I turned it on once, & there was this big surprise for the upcoming legend, I thought it was like Bruce springsteen or something, turns out to be justin timberlake, oh no!! I turned the channel as soon as I heard his name, Justin Bever was upset he didn't get any awards, is this what today's music scene is coming to.

i do like the black keys though.

I don't understand the categories!?  So whats the difference between record and album?

The GRAMMYYS was a black tie event for a lot of people, it was packed.

I enjoyed it.

I really liked that commercial where the car drove up a wall, it was on the order of a cartoon but not.

I searched for the commercial but couldn't find it, it was pretty awesome.

Album of the year goes to the best full release, and record of the year goes to the best single song.
Sort of like Album OTY = 12"
Record OTY = 7"

No love from the Grammys, nor from Patrick Carney: Justin Bieber joked, probably, on Twitter that the Black Keys drummer "should be slapped around haha" after Carney seemed unimpressed that the Grammys had snubbed Bieber this year.

The day after the Black Keys picked up three trophies – Best Rock Album for El Camino and Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for "Lonely Boy" – Carney was confronted by a TMZ camera crew, who first asked if he had any advice for aspiring Grammy-seekers ("Buy a minivan and go on tour," he said), then followed up with a question about what Carney thought of Bieber's lack of nominations this year. "I dunno, he's rich, right?" Carney responded. "Grammys are for, like, music, not for money. . . . He's making a lot of money. He should be happy."

It's not as if Bieber isn't at least keeping busy. His latest release, Believe Acoustic, became his fifth Number One album, and he was host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live last weekend. He also announced he'd be doing an hour-long live video stream while the Grammys aired – though technical difficulties ultimately got in his way. Instead, Bieber released a new but unfinished cut called "You Want Me."

I like The Black Keys too...and Jack White. I was bummed that "Blunderbuss" wasn't voted "Album of the Year".
