Stray Cat Blues is one of my favorites. Most people could give a shit about lyrics. Stray Cat Blues is wrong on many levels, but fans don't care either. Hell, Bill Wyman got a pass from fandom after fucking a 13 year old.

Stray Cat Blues is one of those high water marks fo the band. Dangerous, illegal, not caring for anything. Brilliant!

Heroin came out in '67, stray cat came out in '69, Lou reed wrote songs about the seedy side of New York City, the hookers, drag queens, Andy warhol's whole scene which included drug addicts, The Velvet Underground did all this first.
