The GRRR! mix is so much better than what they released last month.
I like the video...it seems a bit off in the first minute as far as song and Jagger's lips...maybe just the digital photography...

I think the video could have been less literal w/ the lyrics though, and more conceptual...

Well Done Boys!!

Is that L'Wren in a few of the close ups? Or was it the same girl throughout?

Very good video. I like it when they perform the song and cut in other scenes.

Let a hottie watch "She Was Hot", next to you, and I guarantee there will be something happening in somebody's bedroom.

(Women respond to humor.)

Best video ever ("She Was Hot"); I do not care about Grrrrr

Still dig the song. But the video looks like it was hastily thrown together. Which it was. Also reinforces the fact it's a Mick song. How ironic. Mick singing about the gloom and doom of present day society and it's evils. While charging the highest ticket prices ever. :tongui

Sittin' in my hearse,
Baby won't you prance with me?
Ho-yeah. (And indeedy-deedy).

A rather literal yet rather lovely video.

Inci-dentally, I was musing the other day that the "I love I love I love I love I love it" in 'One More Hit' had echoes of Peter Cook's "I love it I love it I love I love, I love it" as chipper rock-star Eric Daley.

Gawd (and Goethe) bless those Stains.

I like that the focus is the FOUR of them jamming.
I like the song too.

They still got it!!!

THATS THE HOLY GRAIL OF STONES VIDEOS.

As soon as I caught the 1st shots of gore, I thought of the chain saw in TMB.
I do not get the overload of gore, puking, heads exploding.
Effects of the producer lost on me.
Performance shots are great.
I had given it a B last night, I'm now down to a C
Only the facts that Ronnie is using the Stay With Me guitar & Keith wearing the top hat are saving it.
Just another sign that they are coasting.

A masterpiece!

The video almost has it all...

just lacking Thermo-vision.

Otherwise fine.

The video does have the look of being put together quickly. I would have preferred the band to have been portrayed a little more interestingly. The song's lyrics lend itself to a great video. This is just okay. The band shots reminded me of those horrible Bigger Bang promos for Streets of Love and Rough Justice with them just singing and playing- awaful stuff.

Oh, come on. It's worlds better than the Bigger Bang promos. Those things looked like perhaps the Stones thought Don Kirshner's Rock Concert was still on.

This one isn't perfect, but it's the best thing they've done video-wise since 1997.

I'll admit, it's a little better but only marginally. I even like the way the band was shot in the Streets of Love video better and I hate that song with a passion- worst thing they have ever written. Doom and Gloom could have led to some great dark imagery which is right up the Stones street but it looks like a corny promo.

no need to say anything. Charlie's face in the video says it all.

Still, i'll give it 5 out of 10 because of the naked boobies.

Especially Mick.

Great job on the song and the video.

Too explicit,Noomi´s overacting is awful. The song deserves better. It´s known the Stones are not the best videoband,in fact I like that.In the 80´s they tried to be part of the MTV crap thanks to Jagger but they failed.Love is Strong is the only video I really dig in.

And in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

I thought casting her as the female lead was a classic Stones move.  I like the video more every time I see it, and flat-out LOVE the
song at this point.

The video is everything the Stones SHOULD be...edgy, sexy, funny, dark, political, dirty, just plain wrong
in places, and totally rock & roll.  The obvious nods to their 80s videos like "Too Much Blood" bump up against
modern images, roles and genders are bent, beautiful boobs are flashed, shit blows up...all is well with the world.

Plus, the Boys look great in black.
