Just got this notice...Tickets still  $113.00-$831.00...(not that I am surprised).

Now the rest of Wall Street that got shut
out of Newark can go!!!

So happy  for them!!!

I feel bad for the folks in the Hamptons...Brooklyn is still 100 miles away...All the private helicopters will get booked up straight away.

The Stones should play a pity gig out there for them...

I wonder who is paying the Stones for this gig.  That 25 mill was for 4 shows....eh. Who cares. The Stones are on the road.

I wonder how many thousands of tickets for THIS show will be available a few hours after it's 'sold out'

Surely there's a limit as to how stupid scalpers can be?

I would love it if the tickets don't sell out at these prices.

DO YOU THINK THE STONES (OR SHOW SPONSORS)ARE PART OF THE SECONDARY TICKET MARKET,I.E. STUBHUB?IT WOULD SEEM THE ONLY WAY THE SHOWS MAKE FISCAL SENSE.

They probably needed the fifth show so that they could make a profit as, according to Ronnie, 'the stage cost millions'

Something's got to give.

This show takes place just three weeks after it goes on sale.

It shouldnt be anywhere near as hard a ticket to get as Newark for the simple reason that less scalpers (if they have any sense) are going to take a chance on re-selling an already extortionately priced ticket at such short notice, especially when there are about 5-8,000 Newark tickets still available for re-sale.

Another possible knock on effect should be that the arse will fall out of the secondary market for the Newark shows. They're already struggling to sell tickets above face value for the Newark and London gigs and now that there are suddnely 20,000 tickets up for grabs for a Saturday night show in New York, the asking prices for those Newark tickets may be about to plummet.

Not to mention how hard the area was hit with the hurricane and everybody is struggling to deal with that. Paying atronomical amounts for a rock show aren't as high a priority as getting your power back on.

People have credit cards. I don't think the hurricane is going to prevent a lot of people from getting tickets. You no longer have to camp out for them. If it doesn't sell out in one minute, it will be two.

more stupid buyers. If you buy 10 or 20 pairs of great seats, and sell them for 23 times or more the face value, you can still eat half and make money... and you won't eat them, one way or another, the corruption is so entrenched, i'm sure there's buy backs, face value last minute sales, or even if you sell under face or whatever...

Fck Mick Jagger..what a twat. After reading this article on the pricing, fck him....he doesn't get a cut of the secondary market, so that's why tix are priced the way they are.

I'm more excited to see Phish in MSG at the end of December, at least their guitarist doesn't have someone filling in most of the parts.  :forfucksake

No luck for me on TicketMaster so I'll probably buy one on StubHub, thousands are available. At this point I'll wait to the last minute so the price drops, hopefully! This is becoming a game of chess.

I haven't been able to pull a ticket on Ticketmaster in forever. Damn thing is rigged against me.

This is how things will be from now on. The old days are over unless Ticketmaster isn't in the loop. This is the first time since 1994 that I've been shut out of gigs at a reasonable price. I think Ticketmaster would pay any price to handle tix for the 2013 shows.

Yes, Gazza, I would venture to say that the stupidity of scalpers has a limit.
The stupidity of Stones Fans, however, knows no bounds whatsoever and is usually the horse that the scalpers bet and win on.......

There was nothing promised of this nature in advance for any of these shows. You're paying through the arse to see the current version of the Stones.

Anything else is a bonus - or distraction, depending on your opinion of guest artists.
