Terrible, it's a missed shot. It's a pitty they're gonna end this way, You can hear it's the Stones but......... sigh, terrible!!

I'm typing this fully nude!  Shades of Mixed Emotions, Street Fighting Man - open G glory!!!!!!! Super slinky, danceable - especially while NUDE!

I like it, but it ain't no classic. The intro's very similar to street fighting man, and it's  definitely reminiscent of the Winos. The production stands out; it sounds HUGE!

It's the type of song that I'd enjoy after a long night out and crashing on a comfortable chair and listening to it to wind down. It takes at least a week before a real opinion can be given. Gave me a I Go Wild vibe. Thanks for putting it up.

Listening to it for the 3rd time - I love it. Perfect song for the summer. Put it on loud in the car and go for a spin.

I'll have to listen to it on something besides my iphone. But,it don't move me a whole lot. I like the guitars. But song seems pretty redundant. :-/

Pretty much the way I feel about it. As it was fading out I was thinking, "this is it?" I think it'll really rock live, though, much like Don't stop did.

I come to think of  AC/DC - "You Shook Me All Night Long" when I listen to this song.

Not as good as "Doom And Gloom"...

my bet is it was Keith's contribution stemming from those mini Wino sessions early this year..or was it last year?

Ends a bit quickly just when I was getting into it.

'Street Fighting Man' was what I thought too when I heard the intro. Can see the similarities with Take it so hard and You Shook me as well.

Pretty solid if unspectacular song with throwaway lyrics. Keith sounds good.

I think Jagger is trying to hard...a bit forced...like when he sings
"Button Your Lip Baby...Button Your Coat" in Mixed Emotions.
This sounds just a tad more refined in the mix

For me, it doesn't seem that this song had as much creative effort as Doom and Gloom (if any). The opening riff instantly reminded me of Take it so Hard (same key and everything). And yeah, this song fits easily into their past three or so studio albums as a weak filler.

with respect, the form of the song (not returning to the chorus or a final verse after the instrumental breakdown) indicates, in my opinion, a lack of due consideration in the writing process. The gradual fade out after Ronnie's solo has an epic appeal, but has qualities suggestive of a mere studio jam...

meh....Doom n'Gloom is much better....

I don't care that the production sounds like Mixed Emotions...I long for any period of Stones of yesteryear. A little slow in the tempo, I would hope that it picks up when live. All in all, above average chune!

A great hook, but otherwise by-the-numbers. If Mick spent more than five minutes on the lyrics, I'd be shocked. Ronnie's b-bender licks are pretty kickass, though.

Songs much closer to Springsteen than AC/DC. Song's fair at best as far as songwriting goes... production is pretty decent...bigger sound.

Just pretty "Bruce Springsteen" in feel and in sound.


Still ...I kina like it. It's not a bad send-off to Grrr .... which is exactly what it's designed as. Not embarrassing... just nothing fantastic.

It's not a major single... instead almost a Stones "trinket", of sorts.

god damn it.  just when I was ready to grow up and hate on the Stones for their greed in the recent ticket prices, their arrrogance in defending them, and the faux sell-out in 7 mins. nonsense....they release One More Shot.
Love the production and nanana chorus!  True the lyrics are dashed off, but Mick is forever complaining about doing songs with "so many words" live.  This should solve that problem.

the official vieos are lame billboards... they could do better... add the sybc to the live shows, some cut aways, some hot chciks, slow motion of Keith smoking, Mick being mick, Ronnie not being high and Charlie keeping the train on time!!! Lasme, but good song!

This morning I could listen One more Shot. The matter is , it reminds me about another Stone' song that at sudden I dont remember the title. One of theirs past.
Right now in my Youtube' country, One More Shot is not ever avaiable.. It was take away from Their stuff.
But I've to re-listen it a bit more. The  guys seem to rock

The riffs from the Steel Wheels era are greatly welcomed by me!  As are Charlie's You Got Me Rocking drums.  I don't hear AC/DC at all. I hear Stones circa 89-94 witha  dash of 88 Winos.

This song is worse than Doom and Gloom, which has slightly grown on me over the last couple weeks.  

I just don't get it.  Could these guys try any less?

I remember the old days when a redundant Stones greeatest hits package had FOUR songs tacked on at the end, instead of just TWO.

It's growing on me. Keith's the master of recycling "how I wish" for a" street fighting" "Mixed emotion" in the first 25 seconds !

Charlie is BACK IN THE GROOVE. The snare with flair . Mick makes the best of typical Keith lyrics ........ ooh Baby , Honey etc.

On first listen yes, a bit, but after a few listens, it takes a life of its own. It sounds a lot better with the repeated "na na na na na na" with Keith on background vox after the guitar solo. Not sure why the Grrr...version doesn't have it, maybe they were running out of space and needed to limit it to 3'05" ?

Sirius FM radio played One More SHot today on the Classic Rewind channel! I enjoyed hearing it on the radio more than listening to it on my computer for some reason! Maybe it was the surprise of receiving it instead of me reaching for it.

Really ? What has that guy ever written (of interest) apart from the Winos co-credits, which I would think is mostly editing of Keith's ideas ? He doesn't seem to have a publishing company so it can't be his forte.

One More Shot sounds like classic Stones. I'm listening through a rig that consists of vintage 300 watt mono amps,  Lexicon preamp and Paradigm Studio speakers.
