Anything for more facebook 'hits' from dimwits telling them how wonderful they are and who are under the illusion that the four of them are actually reading their inane drivel.

All rust will be knocked off of the band and they will be in top shape. THE ROLLING STONES ARE COMING. Expect brilliant versions of Midnight Rambler, Tumblin' Dice and blues covers. People will marvel at how they sound better in 2012 and 2013 than they did the last time out.

The kick being that it's an entire show made up of songs that the Stones have never performed in their 50-year career.

We'll get what they always give us, and we'll like it. Because in 2 yrs time we'll be wishing we could have the chance to see them do all the warhorses again.

I still say open with Doom & Gloom. If it's song #4 or so, people gonna head for the bar/toilets, or go out and have a smoke. Open with it because it a decent rocker, the excitement of them hitting the stage will obscure the "Oh no, a new song!", and then they can simply go back to the usual suspects, plus if lucky, an obscure gem.

I'm still praying to L. Ron Hubbard that "We love you" is played as an encore song.

So here's my (realistic) hopeful set. I think 17-18 songs is it.

1. Gloom & doom - good opener & a new song to boot
2. Hang fire - easy, simple kinda obscure rocker, undemanding & fun - and a shit load better than you got me rocking
3. Love is strong - perfect replacement for miss you, but i bet we get miss you
4. honky tonk women - would love to see it rested, maybe alternate with gimme shelter
5. come on (SURELY!!!!) - i mean, come on! Easy to play. Quck. They could even add another song. or something surprising like time waits
6.tumbling dice - lets face it, they WILL do it
7.midnight rambler - maybe too long to do, but alternating with album mate YCAGWYW - for the singalong factor
8.dead flowers - Keith & Mick sharing a mic!
9.happy - He's gotta!
10.before they make me run - Or any other Keith song, but maybe alternate with Feel on baby. Just for the shock factor!
11. sympathy - ya know what. I'm kinda bored with this being the lynchpin of the show. And can Keith cut it? But what else can they do?
12.paint it black - alternate with gimme shelter or street fighting man or bitch
13.start me up - You just KNOW this will never be left out
14. brown sugar - as above
15. the last time - PERFECT!!! And yes, have this AFTER BS. Just so people think "Uh oh, show over"

16. We love you - Look, they MUST!! Good possibilities for cool Charlie drumming. The old vid being shown. A bit of "We DO love our fans" - something they never really show (its almost OUR prviledge to see them - shit...it is! hahaha) But perfect 1st encore song. With big vid screens covering the whole back of the stage. Big letters of the song title (before they play it), nifty Chuck intro. Moody psychadelic lighting, easy for Keith to play, fun for Jagger to sing, Darryl "zooming" his bass ala Paint it black (hell, they could do this IF Bill join them!). I just totally believe it's a perfect song. Or, ok, something from the same era. Like a rainbow. Once obscure, now known because of commercials. Why the fuck not?
17. JJ Flash - They gotta, or i will be angry
18. Satisfaction - they gotta. Either this, Sugar, or JJ - we all know that.

I think its a cool & realistic set with some sweet surprises. We aint getting no Sways or CYHMK this time around. I doubt they attempt anything not on GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - maybe CYHMK or Time waits for no one if M.T. shows up for a show or 2.
