Doubt it. The showbiz411.com guy seems to think they are, but he's been consistently posting wrong info on dates for weeks.

I even posted on his site asking him why he kept posting info about concert dates that CANT be possible as the venues arent available on some of the dates hes claiming the Stones are playing and the cheeky fucker mailed me back saying "The dates are correct - be nice or I wont tell you anything".  ;D

He's insisting the Stones are playing the 02 in London on November 26/27 (even though theres a Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson show there on the 26th) and the Prudential Centre on Dec 15/16 (even though theres a basketball game there on the 15th). Previously he'd been posting Dec 6/7 for Barclays Centre even though theres a game there on the 7th.

The London dates will be November 25 and 29th.

No tickets without a huge worldwide press conference. Stones don't get out of bed for anything less than that. We all know this.

I saw a Jay Z concert at the Barclays center a couple weeks back - cool venue, great acoustics.

Announcement is monday.

(PS Prices are higher than ever. I can get my ticket thru the NY promoter, but I'm not even sure I want to pay it.)

Didn't Barbara Streisand charge like $700 for good tickets? I can only imagine what the Stones are gonna charge.

Why do I think the words Favor Flav and hang just belong in the same sentence?

I would be so thankful if the Stones, in recognition of their 50th year together, charged 50 bucks a seat. I have a greater chance of becoming a backup singer for the Stones than for tickets to be so cheap!

I've heard £450 mentioned for the 02 shows.  That's  $725 to save you looking it up - the equivalent of the average week's salary in the UK.

Most 02 tickets in 2007 were £150. The most expensive tickets ever for a rock show in the UK and if true, would be a 300% price hike in five years.

Considering the fact that US top prices were $450 last time, that's a frightening scenario for London, and even more so for you.

I honestly cant imagine £450 as the standard price for these London shows. Even though its the only shows in Europe, I cant believe they'd get thousands of people willing to pay that.  Especially in a time frame of six weeks.

Its also a helluva risk as you can imagine a lot of fans would think twice (especially coming up to Christmas in a recession) about paying it as there's more doubts about whether they're able to deliver a show to justify that, based on their age, health and inactivity.

My guess is that the more expensive tickets will be utterly horrifically expensive (Fan Asylum prices - four figures), but they'll maybe offer a % of tickets in the price range that they did before. Except that this time they'll be nosebleeds instead of in Block A!

got to be a pay per view thing. 4 shows they would be so in the red even at those prices.

750.00 a ticket sounds about right.
Wonder if they do layaway??
I may be hitting a street corner or three tonight to earn some quick cash.

Or the equivalent of about 3 Springsteen shows and travel costs. Which I'll happily take over one outrageus priced Stones show. :willya

If the tickets are $750 I'm gonna fvcking cry and if I wont be able to go I'll be in a bad mood for the rest of my life! This will be the end of me. My life will be totally screwed.  If I cant afford a fvcking ticket, this is gonna hurt! I'm gonna hope the ticket prices come in under $300, and if not, I'll fvcking go mad.  Find me in the Police Station night of the shows for killing somebody or robbing somebody to get in. OMFG I cant take this! I'm going crazy already! WTF is wrong with me? Why am I not rich??? OMFG I'm having a mini meltdown after seeing $750!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PANIC ATTACK!

Relax. They'll do a proper tour next year - and the tickets wont be those prices.

They can probably get away with very high prices when theyre only making about 40,000 tickets available per continent instead of the usual 2 million or so.

Since last tour I can re-live shows over and over again via You Tube within a few hours. I think this time I will skip actually attending and head right to You Tube.

£150!!! (about $230 I suppose)

Same as they were for the 2006-2007 shows - except that on THAT tour there were a lot more in that range!

O2 tickets this time expected to be £105 to £450.

And unfortunately, so true. November 26 or 27 is just a couple days before my birthday, I think I should start asking friends to give me ticket money instead of gifts.

And yes, Welcome Back indeed GTRM!!!  :keithpunky Just at the right time baby, the boys waited as long as they should!

We will all pay high prices for tickets and like it. As an extra bonus, we'll thank them by buying overpriced 50th anniversary mugs, tee shirts and Gorilla inspired thongs.
