My current one - folk song, chorus with I vi IV V progression (like Let it Be), sounds a bit too upbeat to be John Prine, but similar vibe. Think Jerry Jeff Walker's "Gettin' By." My noggin thanks you in advance.

Whenever I listen to an oldies station, there inevitably comes on one of those cheesy Top-40 songs you love to hate.

Those are the tunes that stick in my head all day. That really pisses me off. :stinkypost

Yes, I work with kids. Yes, some show or another is always playing snippets of this song. Yes, I wake up in the middle of the night with this song on "repeat" !! :forfucksake

My Glimmer Twins have a "Kidz Bop"CD that has Moves Like Jagger"on it......it is a rather good pop song and whenever i hear them play it...

Figured mine out - I suppose it's more of a "tip of the tongue and stuck in head song" - it was "Call Me Up in Dreamland," Van.
