If they do tour and they usually play a cover or two here are my choices:

They always blaze on 'Mannish Boy'...that would be my first choice for a live cover.

I would suggest that they toss aside the covers on this tour and just replace them with a few rare Stones tunes...( except the covers they have made their own)
No more "tributes"or such...no Otis Redding, Bob Marley, Ray Chales, Smokey, etc... If they can learn and play Night Time Is The Right Time or Get up, Stand up...they can certainly learn and play Down In The Hole or Hey Negrita... |

I've always thought they should play Muddy Waters' "Rollin' Stone" as their last song.

Rollin Stone is a brilliant idea! But i stand by my conviction "We love you" should be in the encore. Heard "Mannish Boy" in Melbourne in 2003. Sexy shit! Darryl's deep bass nearly cracked the roof!

Personally I dont need to hear any covers, they are a waste of setlist space since there are so many STONES songs they could cover! I'd rather hear all Stones, no covers, but the Rollin Stone Muddy Waters song does have a special significance so I guess if there has to be one, I go with that!

I don't think I need anything 'new' cover wise. I got a kick out of Thats How Strong My Love Is in Utrecht almost 10 years ago. Rooster's always great, some stuff like that.

I don't agree at all, it is always great to see the stones doing covers, just a few I don't like but most of them are great
Would love to see them playing "Still s Fool" |

"I Can't Be satisfied" which they already did, but I would like to hear it now, if Ronnie can play slide like Brian.
I kind of wish The Stones would get back to their Blues roots, if it's their 50th Anniversary they should, 50 years ago they were not doing songs they wrote. |

Well...if they do play Brooklyn...a tribute to their favorite city would be nice:
No Sleep Till Brooklyn ( Adam Yauch tribute) Purple Rain Bohemian Rhapsody |

I don't think they should waste set list space on "new" covers/tributes, but one's from their past would be welcomed :
Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Elmore James, etc. are part of their past and that should be celebrated IMHO. :smilestu :smilebrian SC UK |

How about Sir Mix-a-lot's "Baby's Got Back"!
I can just imagine, Micky singing, "I like big butts . . . " Ha! Ha! I'm kidding! The original 90's hit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY84MRnxVzo Cameron Diaz dancing to Sir Mix-a-lot in the movie Charlie's Angels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCCKSja1b4k |

What would be cool is if The Stones covered one song each from the solo album stuff from Ronnie, Keef, Charlie and Mick. That would be significant. I would enjoy that!
