Title: major breakthrough
Post by albert on Sep 19th, 2012 at 12:12pm
yesterdayevening, out of the blue, my girlfriend asked: 'why don't put up a Stones cd?" Completly surprised I played Black and Blue and later Beggars Banquet. Comment: 'you must play this more....I like it...."

Yes: alcohol was involved but hey: there has to be a first time for everything, yes??........

grt,
Albert

On Valentine's Day, 2003, I had a first date with a new lady.
During dinner I mentioned that I was going to see the Stones in London later that year.
She asked: "What kind of music do they play ?"

It was also our last date.  :forfucksake

Albert, we will add Stones fans one at a time if he have to!
Good work.

When I was first dating my husband, we were headed into Kemper Arena in Kansas City to see the Stones (I had gotten the tickets) and he said, "I've never really liked the Rolling Stones." I couldn't believe I had failed to find this out about him before then!

Happy ending: He now is a fan and went to quite a few Bigger Bang shows. It only took him about 30 years of constant exposure to bring him around to the right frame of mind.
