MODEL and actress Jerry Hall has admitted that despite it being 13 years since the end of their relationship, she still loves Sir Mick Jagger.

The 56-year-old, who will take part in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, believes you never fall out of love with someone.

“In 1977 Mick came into my life. I still love him,” she tells Woman’s Own.

“How can you un-love? Breaking up with Mick was painful but I was with him for 23 years and the fact we stayed together so long and made such a wonderful family was an amazing success.”

The pair have James, 29, Lizzie, 28, 19-year-old Georgia May and Gabriel, 14, together and Jerry insists they still share a bond.

“We still loved each other [after the break-up] and were determined that even though our marriage had ended we would continue to be parents together. I’d always wanted to have children. We loved parenthood and Mick’s a great dad.”

How can you un-love? Breaking up with Mick was painful but I was with him for 23 years and the fact we stayed together so long and made such a wonderful family was an amazing success

MICK's a hard act to follow. I dont blame her one bit. I will always love my ex too even though he did some extremely fvcked up things. You just cant erase all of the good times just because of some very bad things, because the good outweighs the bad if you were a family together.  I still have a relationship and talk to all of my ex-relatives, 2 ex-step mothers, 2 ex-step sisters and their families, many ex-cousins, ex sister-and brother in-laws ex-uncles and ex-aunts. You cant pretend these people dont exist after spending years of your lives with them. I grew up in a series of broken homes and then created my own broken homes. So divorce breeds divorce but its important to keep these people in your life after the marriages end. You will see them again for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, funerals etc so best to keep the ties intact even after the marriages are over. It's the mature thing to do.

That's very nice, Bi-atch.  My sister had three beautiful kids with her ex-husband, but most of her ex-in-laws, including ex-siblings in-law, treat her like crap.

Yeah but that negative behavior is not right for the innocent kids involved. It robs them of their family.

Now, THAT is TRUE LOVE!

I want to be more like this, it's hard for me to be nice when things have gone bad... thank god my marriage has been solid, it's one of the few things I haven't ruined in this life.... Yet!!!
