Thanks to my Rocks Off friends for the birthday wishes! I spent my birthday going to NYC for the Les Paul CD release party which was at The Iridium Jazz Club. Rumors of a KEEF appearance proved to be untrue, but Steve Miller was there and Blondie and a bunch of other seasoned musicians so it was a fun night. I ate a delicious piece of NY Cheesecake for my birthday! Blondie stopped over at our table to say hello. Here's some breaking news! I asked Blondie about the Stones tour. He said so far its a rumor, BUT the he is glad the rehearsals will be taking place in NJ! Yep, you heard it here first, the rehearsals are already planned but thats all he could say at this point. Not letting the cat totally out of the bag, but the word REHEARSAL was used and not studio time. I guess he has a place in NY or NJ as many of the Band 2 are locals to this area. Lisa and Tim live in NJ, Bernard in Queens. MICK has an apartment in NY and KEEF is only an hour away. It makes sense. Anyway, I'm another year older and staying out till 4 AM is not as easy as it used to be, for sure, which is why I've cut out hard liquor altogether. Its just wine and champagne from now on as I am a member of the "over 50" club, and I'll have to start a plan for a healthier lifestyle!

Thanks again for all the bd wishes! I'm so wiped out today. What a drag it is getting old. The amazing thing about it is MICK and The Stones are about 16 years older than I am and it does get more difficult to bounce back after a night out on the town. I can appreciate the fact that they only want to do a few shows and not an entire huge world tour. It takes alot out of me just being in the audience!
