We stayed there in October 2010 with GnR which used it as a base for their Lille, Antwerp, and Arnhem shows. By far the best hotel we've ever seen---oozes class.

Yeah...Amstel Hotel. Lovely place indeed. For fine dining and such...I could make lame jokes about Mick visiting the nearby zoo to look at the monkeys, but I'll spare you.

My best guess: busines trip. As most of you probably already know the Stones save a lot of money by using a Dutch holding structure for just about all their stuff. It's very lucrative for a foreign company to use it: makes them a shitload of money. So there's probably a holding that is called 'GRRR! BV'. Catchy name, no?

NY Fashon Week is starting up now so she is planning a designer show and models strutting her fabulous stuff. Pippa Middleton is in NY for the US Open and Fashion Week and is grabbing some media attention here. She should be attending L'Wrens show. So MICK is taking care of RS business in Amsterdam. GRRR!
