He played the Anthem for the Summer Of Love in '67, I remember that song so well, the Tourist board should have paid him & John Philips for all the free advertisement.
He had another single but it didn't do as well as "San Francisco" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQknrimpNnY By the way, that version wasn't very good, this is the one I remember. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ_WG3d3GL8&feature=related |

I think Mr. McKenzie helped or co-wrote Kokomo with Mike Love and others, A late if notthe last Beach Boy Hit in 1988...............
Not my favorite by no means, a My Ding a Ling........ song, sorry Chuck. :tongui But it was a hit...... |

RIP Scott, hope he's now wearing some heavenly flowers there
I love the psychedelic years, especially 1965-1969, he wrote one of the anthems of this great era, Led Zeppelin added a very "special" version during the performance of Dazed and Confused |

Another sad one....:( I mentioned this in the Phyllis Diller thread, simply becuase I heard of FOUR deaths yesterday {one might have been the day before}. It was just too much information to process at one time...:(
