My mom passed away 2 weeks ago,It´s been very hard since then.Obviously life must go on but It´s not easy.I came back to work and all my acitivities but with a different feeling,a sad feeling but a happy feeling too.My mother was a brave woman,her illness was no obstacle to smile and enjoy life until her last day.That attitude is what keeps us (including my father and my brother) strong.I´m a big fan of the Stones because of her,she was gently obsessed with Mick Jagger,she introduce to the Stones and their music.Now It´s different,It´s like their music is the soundtrack between me and my mom.She´s in my heart and she always will be.

My heart's with you. I lost my mom ten years ago and there's not a single day that I don't think about her.

Sorry to read this. Its the great mystery of life, dying and the afterlife. Try to look at it as a transformation from one state of being to the next. We dont know where she is but her spirit is always with you. Its hard not to be too sad now, but dont isolate yourself. A smile relieves a heart that grieves, its not the gospel but its true, your friends smiles will help you thru this.   :)

RWC, my heart goes out to you, I remember my Mother died in 1980, it was the only time our entire family got together all in the same place, I still think of her & I know she's in spirit with me.

The body dies not the spirit......my mom and dad have both gone, and yet there is not a day they don't somehow talk or show themselves to me.
Keep your memory of your mom with you always.......write something down for yourself, about mom every once and awhile to reflect on in the near and distant future.........I am one that believes we will all be together again somewhere somehow. You are in, our family prayers, for your strength during these hard times.

Mi más sentido pésame, yo también perdí mi mamá pero hace mucho tiempo y como te dijo FPM siempre la llevo en mis gratos recuerdos al igual que mi papá que murió antes. Dado que tu mamá era fan de los Stones y fue quien te introdujo a ellos, si quieres por favor mándame una foto y la pongo de header en su memoria.

My deepest condolences RWC.  I lost my mom seven years ago.  The first year is the worst - all the first holidays, family events, etc. etc.  It does get better.   There is  not a day that goes by that I do not think about her.  Just because she is gone from your sight doesn't mean she's gone and she will be there when you need her.  The love of a mother to  her child never dies.

RWC, I'm very sorry for your loss. I know well what you're feeling. All both my parents was gone, and dont pass a day that I dont miss them, expecially my mom. She was like yours.
But she will with you every single day of your life.
