Title: Pacquiao/Bradley Fight
Post by sweetcharmedlife on Jun 10th, 2012 at 1:35am
Did anybody see this fight tonight. Holy shit. I've seen a lot of bad decisons and calls in sports over the years. But this was the absolute worst. Manny kicked ass all over the ring all night long. Of coure there will be a rematch in November for big bucks. :pukey

Been a fan of the sport for 40 years and that decision is seriously enough to make me question my interest in it any further.

The only reason I stayed around to hear the formality of the decision was to see if the three judges might have agreed that Pacquiao had actually deserved a shutout, as I thought he'd won pretty much every round (even Harold Lederman, who was scoring it for HBO, gave Bradley no more than one round, and even that was close)

Unquestionably the worst judging decision I've ever seen - only the George Foreman-Axel Schulz fight in the mid 90's comes close to it.

Fucking shameful. Even the judge who scored it to Pacquiao by just two rounds needed his head examined. As for the other two - they should be taken out and buried in the desert.

Used to love boxing myself...Tommy Hearns was my fave. When they let Sugar Ray Leonard off with a draw in thgeir last fight I quit watching as its is always fixed for the next big bout.....Now it has less credibility then Roller Derby or wrestling...

Yeah I thought it was a pretty good fight. Pacquiao looked pretty good. Showed some of his old quickness. Took some shots like he always does. But nowhere near lost the fight. The only thing I can think of is that somehow these judges were influenced by the rash of bad publicity Manny had lately. Didn't help he kept everybody waiting before he would come out for the fight. But as for the fight itself. He kicked Bradley's ass.
