I'm trying to find "love thy will be done" by prince (originally written for Martika)

Yeah, I saw Prince at the O2 Dome when he had a show between the Stones shows in 2007, and a bunch of us caught his act. That skinny little fvcker is multi-talented and supercharged! He put on an awesome show, and then he did an after-party which I couldnt get a ticket for, notably he has a big fan base.

He is quite possible the best live act of the last 15 years...

in 1994 I went to Dallas to see the match Holland-Brazil during the World Cup; Brazil won and at night there was a big celebration downtown with different groups, the Dutchies were celebrating like if they won LOL

In between bands the local PA played Prince music and let me tell ya... What a way to dance his music by the local girls! Really sexy and great... Prince music turned the party on everybody dancing and singing, nice moment

The 02 show that we (me, you, Meg, Sweet Virginia and Ade) went to was superb - but the aftershow that Meg, SV and myself went to was just off-the-radar brilliant.  Even though he didnt actually SING that much.

Have to give SV some plaudits for that remarkable day. Drove (in the midst of a storm if I recall right) from a  family reunion in Wisconsin to Chicago, caught the red-eye to London, met us mid afternoon at The Pilot Inn (our drinking 'base' for that memorable week) and then went to two Prince gigs that night, the second of which ended at around 3 am.

And still looked like a million dollars at the end of it. *

One of the best weekends EVER. Gazza, Meg, Ade and Sarah, Egon, Marc, Kent, Bitch (and her kids), Jo's brownies, Pimms Cups, Prince and the last-ever live Rolling Stones concert (to date). Heaven!

First time I drank Pimms was that day, when I got to the table there was a nice cold Pims Pitcher so I poured a glass and it was so very "British" but I'm still not even sure if its brandy or wine or liquor.  

The best Stones trip ever- with the added treat of Prince.  There was a lot of beer drunk on the Prince night.  What time was that after concert over Gazza? (was gonna say that I still remember it all...)

I like how the 02 sign puts a bit of a halo on St. Gazza in that photo.  :)

To answer the subject line of your thread. Yes.. I enjoy Prince. Great singer, song writer, musician, producer, arranger, performer ... as people know... the man has many talents.  


While not one of my top favs .. still I always admired and respected his works and array of skills.

i managed to record it off youtube, though not the best quality ever. thanks anycase

though i did not see prince in the O2 that weekend, the weekend itself was absolutely brilliant.
It helps when your friend runs a pub & lives above it.
sadly nowadays is merely (almost) a pilot LOL
