Just saw that. Always loved Richard. From Hogans Heros to Match Game and Family Feud. Dude always looked like he was having fun. RIP Richard.

Yup.... yup... yup and he lived to a fine old age and ya never heard any stories with him involed with BS (I didnt anyway)(and dont tell me if you did)(ignorance is bliss)....good ole Richard Dawson.... just a good guy, need more like him.

Ah, really sad. :( And, to me, he was WAY too young---only about 20 years older than I am. I think when you start to hit 90...yeah, that could be considered "old".

You know...? These cancers of the throat, esophagus, etc. are becoming more and more deadly, it seems. :( We are hearing about SO many instances of this particular type. I have a friend battling cancer in his neck area, and it is a brutal fight. :(

smoking related? I'm damn glad I gave that up... harder to quit than heroin, and looking back, far lessenjoyable than any drugs I took too!!!

RIP Richard Dawson, you were one of the greats on the boob tube...very entertaining man. From Hogan, Running Man, Laugh In, and Kissing all the chicks on Family Feud!

No, not smoking related at all. A very clean living man. And we had a day care parent who passed away earlier this year--had a HUGE tumor in his neck--not a smoker either. And I think of George Harrison and Adam Yauch.....just hearing about a lot of this kind of cancer {neck and above}.

I think that's what's really scary about some kind of cancers, usually related to smoking. And non-smokers are getting them. It still freaks me out, after all these years, that only months after Christopher Reeve passed away, his wife, Dana, died of lung cancer...and she'd never smoked a day in her life...

R.I.P. Mr. Dawson, remember him well on T.V. cancer sucks!
