Any EB fans out there. going to see the old boy tomorrow. Only seen him once years ago at a free blues festival. Actually paying real money this time. Hope he rocks my soul.

Alas, never saw him in person.
But have seen some clips of him rockin' together with George Thorogood. Was great!
So have fun and let us know how the concert was like.

ah one of the great pleasures of livin in the bay area is seeing elvin. last time was at biscuits and blues recorded that cd there with smokey smothers. miss im wish he would come round these parts more often. have a great time scl!!!

He ain't good looking but he sure can play....Allright he's 69 and lost a little off his fastball. But just a good old boy having some fun playing the blues on a saturday night. Fun show. Told some great stories. 3 songs in they bring a chair out for him. He says he needs a chair,not just because he's old. But because he plays slide better sitting down. He says I used to think 69 was a great number until I turned it. Cracked himself up with that one. Didn't do FAAFIL. That's allright,he did a bunch of other favorites. Haven't heard him in years, didn't he have a song called "Fooled Around & Fell In Love" in the 70's? I remember him more from the Paul Butterfield days, was never as good as Mike Bloomfield though, good that he's still around.
