Seiko Releases Rolling Stones Limited Edition Watch[size=24][/size]

Seiko has created a limited edition watch to celebrate The Rolling Stones' 50th anniversary.
The Rolling Stones were formed in April 1962 and are considered to be one of the most successful groups of all time, with an estimated 200 million albums sold worldwide. Seiko has paid tribute to the band with a special timepiece to acknowledge their "great influence on society and culture".
The Seiko Galante Rolling Stones Limited Edition 2012 is only available for purchase in Japan.
It has a 45 mm stainless steel case and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The black dial features the band's famous red tongue logo, referred to as "one of the most visually dynamic logos in the world", and part of the Union Jack flag. A golden star marks the 50 minute position to reference the anniversary, and the case back has an engraved "50th".
The watch comes with a black crocodile strap. Movement is mechanical Caliber 8L38.
The Rolling Stones have planned a 50th Anniversary tour to celebrate the milestone (now postponed until 2013).
