It's not online yet, and I'm still in a bit of shock, but my Keith Riff Cousins series is No. 3 on Rolling Stone's 25 Best Things in Rock list. The issue hit newsstands today. I suppose this means I need to do another video. Been a while!

I look at Keith's use of double-stops in the shape of a major- or minor-third interval -- on songs as varied as "Tumbling Dice," "Winning Ugly," "Too Rude," "Miss You," and YCAGWYW.

Like I was saying above, it's on Keith's use of a major-third (or sometimes minor-third) double-stop shape.

these are all really nice and I appreciate the effort to get them out to us.....If I dare mention this, you speak of things that are up the neck or down the neck but you are saying it physically rather than speaking of it by pitch...low notes and the bottom of the neck (toward the headstock) and high notes up at the thinest strings near the body. Many people speak of it the way you did but that is not the proper accurate way...just a pet peeve of mine I am not trying to be sour or overly critical. I am truly grateful for the chance to see it played.

great magazine IMO, they've done great liberal investigative journalism, one of the few print papaers to do that... they are current on pop culture too, so so on bands, but oh well... current nonetheless... big hi five to ya... heck of job you've done!
