Jerry Lee Lewis is getting married for the seventh time, the National Enquirer reports, and once again, it involves one of his cousins.

Back in 1957, the rocker wed his 13-year-old cousin Myra Gale Brown, causing a scandal that nearly killed the Killer's career. Now, the eternally punk-rock 76-year-old piano man is apparently engaged to Judith Brown, the ex-wife of his cousin Rusty, Myra's younger brother.

In an interview with the Enquirer, Rusty accuses Jerry Lee of stealing his woman right out from under him. This was particularly painful, he explains, because the 'Great Balls of Fire' singer had been "a second dad" for much of his life.

"In 2010, I walked in on them and caught her rubbing his legs -- the way you're not supposed to," said Rusty, who once played drummer's in Lewis' band. "I confronted her and said, 'What the hell are you doing?' and she denied anything was going on."

Rusty says theirs is no great love affair, and that Jerry Lee is only after a "caregiver" -- someone to make him egg-and-hot-sauce sandwiches and make sure he gets to watch his 'Gunsmoke' reruns. Judith, he says, "has a proven track record of being a gold digger," and he believes she's planning to run off with his dough.

"The crazy thing is that Jerry never liked Judith, and she used to say Jerry was dirty and that he stunk," Rusty said. "But once she got the smell of his money, things changed."

I started to say, before I read the article, that it must involve another cousin. As a joke. Seriously.

Hope he can hold on to his money. Whatever he's got.

IT's Funny But It's sad, his case is not the exception. It happens to all types of people famous and not.
In The Killer's life he has a great daughter, who I hope will be able to take care of this, one way or the other.

I wonder what money he's got? not exactly a millionaire, I don't know if he still hits the booze or not, but he's a wild man when he's drunk, & the Cousin thing I'm surprised about, once bitten twice shy doesn't happen to this man, for his age though, he's pretty tough, he's got memories on the dawn of Rock & Roll up to now!

What a crock of shit. I'm surprised that this isn't from MSNBC! He didn't marry his "cousin." He married his second cousin - big difference! There's nothing wrong with marrying a second cousin.

And now, so what if he wants to marry that gal? She's not even a blood relative. Jeezel, find me some real news!

Nothing wrong in that it's not against the law in most states (as it would be with a first cousin) but still a bit weird to most people.

I fail to see why this is news. He is getting married to the ex-wife of his cousin-basically someone else's ex. Big deal.

Over the weekend, news broke that Jerry Lee Lewis was set to get married for the seventh time and tie the knot with his cousin's ex-wife. As it turns out, that wasn't quite true: The "Great Balls of Fire" singer had already swapped vows with Judith Brown.

As People magazine reports (via the Houston Chronicle), the 76-year-old music legend got hitched in Natchez, Miss., on March 9. Lewis kept the whole thing under wraps, and not even his live-in daughter knew of the wedding plans.

Brown was previously married to Jerry Lee's cousin Rusty, whose older sister, Myra Gale Brown, also factors into this strange family drama. Back in 1957, the then-13-year-old Myra became Lewis' third wife, nearly costing the so-called Killer his career.

Lewis' last marriage came to an end in 2004, when he split from Kerrie McCarver after 20 years together.
