Title: Hard to imagine Brian at 70....
Post by Sioux on Feb 28th, 2012 at 8:13am
Brian at 70----hard to imagine. But I sure wish we had a chance to see that...:( I hope that his contributions to the 60's---in music, fashion, forward thinking---will never be forgotten! I think he would be amazed to see how far his "little band" has come in the last 50 years! "And they said it wouldn't last...."  ;) :P

Happy birthday, Brian. :)

Hard to imagine any of 'em at 70. Things would have been incredibly interesting and different had he been strong enough to have stuck around.

Watch and learn, kids - the British Invasion NEVER got better than this.....

A few can be seen tapping their foot or playing air drum...

I'd honestly put the TAMI Show up there in the top three or four filmed Stones live appearances ever. Greater than even 'Ladies and Gentlemen'.

Brian looks like a man possessed - especially in 'It's all over now'.

Same here, I can never get enough of that, it's also great with the quality too, when they re-released the TAMI Show, they did a great job.

Right at the end of Time Is On My Side ( 7:50)...there seems to be a very young VooDoo in a white shirt and skinny black tie...

and he is hanging out with Kurt Cobain...VERY COOL!!!

All this speak of Brian being posessed...MICK looks like he channeling JB himself in this vid...
the entire band is A BLAZIN'!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN!!!

Why Is Brian's Grave Site look like it new?
The Grass Does not appear to grow well over his reating place?
Are there grass robbers, are those that would want a these of "grass" from his site? :smilebrian

One of the most remarkable things about that performance, for me, is that the Stones went onstage just after James Brown - anyone who's seen JB's incredible set at this show (it's on youtube) will appreciate what a tough act to follow that was. For a young band like that to go on after witnessing that jawdropper of a performance - when any other act would have collectively crapped their pants and ran screaming towards the exit - and put on a show like they did was utterly incredible.

Hey, James! Got any pointers?

And, I heard, that Brian supposedly did NOT want to go on after James Brown's fabulous set! But Marvin Gay told him to just go out there, with the Stones, and "do their thing." And they finished off the show, and, IMHO, tore the house down! :)
