Only reason I know this band is because they opened for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs when I saw them.

I had to leave the club after the first "song" and return for the YYYs.  :wtf3

I have.

Actually, Lou's done another few recent albums which have been overlooked in the 'WTF' category and which make 'Lulu' sound like 'Transformer'.

Hudson River Wind Meditations (2007)

Lou Reed's Metal Machine Trio - The Creation of the Universe (2008)

The Stone - Issue Three (with John Zorn & Laurie Anderson) (2008)

You can't exactly say he's pandering to the mainstream crowd with these 'crackers'......

Even Lars Ulrich joked about it at the Metallica 30 year anniversary shows. He said Lulu is ST Anger's new favorite album.(Most Metallica fans think of St Anger as their Dirty Work).

You make young Stevie cry.

Dirty Work is a fine piece of rock and roll. And It's Hard is a damn sight better than Who Are You, which is easily their worst album of all-time (except for that Join Together live album from the 1980's).

In college I belonged to the Columbia Record Club---I remember ordering "The Asylum Choir" by Leon Russell and Marc Benno, since I was a huge fan of Russell. I don't even remember what it sounded like, but it wasn't what I expected at all, and I know, at the time, I didn't like it at ALL.

So...did the Trinity ban Bucky for copy-pasting those album covers or did he get lucky with just a warning, this being the trhead where people show stuff they hate and all?

I find this to be a very difficult thread to respond to...though i really want to...

It would be easy to say something like JOURNEY-Raised On Radio...MC Hammer- Hammertime or  Britney Spears Whatever...
