K' Naan's second retail outing of 2012 will feature his Distant Relatives homie Nas, as well as icons from U2 and The Rolling Stones.

Rapper/singer K' Naan will release his next full-length album, Country, God Or The Girl on May 1. The A&M Records star will collaborate with emcees Nas and will.i.am on the release, along with U2's lead singer Bono, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and Nelly Furtado.

In January, K' Naan released a five-song EP, More Beautiful Than Silence. The EP featured Nas and Nelly Furtado, and appeared on the Top 200 of the charts the following week.

Country, God Or The Girl follows up 2009's full-length Troubadour.

If we had to guess which Stone just did a gig with BB King and Buddy Guy and which Stone worked with a rap artist we'd get it wrong!

You get my point though. Keith is the last member of the band that I would see working in the world of hip hop.

Oh, yeah, indeed, it's just the end of the goddamn music world. Because hip-hop, as everyone knows, has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Anyone who takes part in the creation or enjoyment of rap or hip-hop is clearly an idiot or degenerate.

For fuck's sake, who cares what Keith plays on? I'm personally excited to hear it.

Be honest: it's because it's that damn "jungle music," isn't it?  :nooslajaleisk

OK I think his daughters, especially Alex may have introduced KEEf to the hip-hop scene. I saw Alex DJ and she played rap/hip-hop stuff mixed with older music. My daughter also listens to that shit so after you hear it for a while you get used to it, and then you begin to like some of it. Perhaps Alex knows this guy and likes him? I can imgine his daughters telling him it's cool. Just guessing, but his daughters probably influenced him. It's mainstream in NYC, and it's hot, especially on the dance floor.
