Its not shown over here - although we do get the Oscars broadcast live - but I found an 'illicit' site which was streaming it. The CBS website was streaming the pre-broadcast part of the show though. Just tuned in for Bruce as I knew he was opening the show. |

Adelle won a 6-pack of Grammys! Its almost enough to make me go out and buy '21'. Rolling In The Deep keeps rolling though my head. Does anyone have this CD, and if so is it full of depressing bad relationship songs? I bet nobody here listens to Adelle, but I wonder if the CD is all that good since it won so many awards.

I got it for Xmas and I love it. Yes, it's clear she was influenced by a bad breakup but a bad case of the blues makes for some of the best songs ever written. Her voice is amazing; it's a blend of soul, jazz and bossa nova. She does a very good cover of The Cure's Lovesong. I hope her next release is Rumor Has It. Amazing. What I take away from this CD is that Adele may be 23 but her soul is many years older than that. Two thumbs up from me and kudos to producer Rick Rubin. |
