Sounds good, I can do without the rap & Justin Beber, which is usually on there.

I'll never forget Bowie on there in '75, he admits he doesn't remember being on there so high on coke, he addresses the audience "Ladies & gentlemen & Others"

The Grammy's are supposed to recognize the best in music for any given year.....Over the ages no awards have failed as miserably in selecting music that has stood the test of time. A fuckin joke I will not waste my time watching.

Its not shown over here - although we do get the Oscars broadcast live - but I found an 'illicit' site which was streaming it.

The CBS website was streaming the pre-broadcast part of the show though.

Just tuned in for Bruce as I knew he was opening the show.

You should consult an ear specialist  !!

Foo fighters is the best thing ever done since 15 years in rock n roll , i'm sure you don't have listen to  one of their album completely ?

"In your Honor " is their Exile !

Adelle won a 6-pack of Grammys! Its almost enough to make me go out and buy '21'. Rolling In The Deep keeps rolling though my head. Does anyone have this CD, and if so is it full of depressing bad relationship songs? I bet nobody here listens to Adelle, but I wonder if the CD is all that good since it won so many awards.

I got it for Xmas and I love it. Yes, it's clear she was influenced by a bad breakup but a bad case of the blues makes for some of the best songs ever written. Her voice is amazing; it's a blend of soul, jazz and bossa nova. She does a very good cover of The Cure's Lovesong. I hope her next release is Rumor Has It. Amazing. What I take away from this CD is that Adele may be 23 but her soul is many years older than that. Two thumbs up from me and kudos to producer Rick Rubin.

I totally and wholeheartedly AGREE. :) She has an old soul, and a super soulful voice. I plan to get both "19" and "21". I LOVE "I'll Be Waiting" off "21". And, rumor has it...Rumor Has It" WILL be the next single released. :) I think it's wonderful for a true artist to get the recognition, and accolades, they deserve.  8-)

Whatever makes you think that?

She's not some manufactured X-Factor Simon Cowell rubbish.

Why wouldnt Stones fans be able to appreciate a creative woman with a soulful voice? And there's nothing wrong with 'bad relationship' songs.  Plenty of us managed to like Amy Winehouse who was all of those things (and more IMO).

She's terrific. Delighted for her.

I just thought ROCKS off people are natrually into ROCK music, not folk music or whatever Alele's shit is about. The Stones write about bad relationships too, but not an entire CD devoted to it! I dont mind a few depressing love-gone-bad songs bur if every one is that way I dont need to buy a CD to get depressed and be reminded about how fvcked up my so-called relationships are! But why I asked is because I was considering buying 21, just havent made up my mind if I want it yet.

Yeah me too! MICK went to see him in NYC recently, so maybe MICK will ask Bruno to be an opening act for The Stones 50th!  MICK hired Kanye West, Maroon 5 & Black Eyed Peas, among other opening acts last tour when these bands were early in their careers and hip to the modern music scene.

Well you're wrong about that Bitch. A lot of good tracks on her last album. "Don't you remember", "One and only", "Rolling in the deep", "Set fire to the rain", "Someone like you".
I'm a rock 'n' Roll and blues guy, but there's nothing wrong with a good popsong, and these definitly are. You really should try them out.

I liked him (or is that the name of the band?) too, when he did his James Brown steps, that was really something, brings back a bit of the Motown/funk artists & bands that were around in the 60's, when all the guys/girls did the same dance steps, & so professional too.

Yes You are right on that one.....Thank you.......... I kept wondering why this guy excited me, the other night.
It's because Of Jackie Wilson, and yes he was "Mr Excitement"..had he lived longer IMO.....he would have out shinned James.
Which would have taken alot! Jackie Wilson Said....................
