I MISSED THE DAY AND MISS YOU. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT TO HEAR YOUR MUSIC, THAT WE MISSED THESE LAST 31 YEARS.
I FIGURE YOU WOULD HAVE AT LEAST PUT OUT 3, 4 OR 5 ALBUMS IN THAT TIME. I MISS YOUR ART! "IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAYT TO GROW OLD WITH YOU!" YOU MADE MY GENERATION THINK ABOUT EACH OTHER AND WHAT WE MEANT TO EACH OTHER. YOU WERE NOT PERFECT BUT THAT WAS THE GREAT THING ABOUT YOU! WHY WOULD ANYONE SHOOT YOU. |

It's perhaps interesting to ponder what stimuli Big MJ received from Lennon - the scene-settings, the jokes, the sl(e)ights, the death. Who (English) did Michael have left to look up to after 1980? Gimme the truth etc. John's tweaking of his nipple in 1968 was funny and significant. Michael's teasing of Lennon to make music/hit the boards again in the later 70s was well intentioned, shirley? John's comment that Mick would look like a silly sausage singing Jumping John Flash at 50, or whatever it was, must have stung, but one expects John must have heard and enjoyed the glories of Some Girlies.
Who could fill the stage better? Who was/is funnier? Not the sort of things old pals should spend too much time thinking about. X |
Title: Re: JOHN LENNON 31 YEARS AGO Post by Bitch on Dec 10th, 2011 at 5:05am NYC is filled with contrasts. The nicest stores, richest banks, famous people shooting for the stars and then you have the homeless, mentally ill people, poverty and people with nothing to live for. So John chose to live in the environment where you never know what life is going to throw at you. He could of secluded himself away on some remote island, but John fed off of the energy NYC offers, which isnt always good energy. RIP John. |

And, ironically enough, John had donated money to the NYC police dept. for them to purchase a number of bullet proof vests, and yet he, himself, refused to wear one....:( |

Me too. Definitely. I remember the entire week, including the 10 minutes of silence, music, or turning your headlights on the Sunday after the shooting....I even remember the song they played on the radio, by the French composer Faure... |
